Fairness and justice

Fairness and justice are two very important values, these are very similar, and they’re both based on doing what is right, doing well for the world. Well, to kick things of, it is better to know what these two values actually mean. First, we have fairness, fairness means, like the word says, it is all about being fair, and it is treating people with equality in a way that is right or responsible. Then we have justice, justice is a quality, it is being fair with people to be just. Now that we know what that means, let’s get to the part were these two relate with the story.

First of, in  A Psalm of Life there is not a way were these two values reflect, but there are part in the poem, like in the first stanza de man says “things are not the way they seem”. It would be very hard to actually see how these two values reflect, but in a way it seems like he is expresses to be mad at something, like something is not fair.

Then, in the tide rises the tide falls, both values, fairness and justice are both reflected on this poem, although justice looks to be used as a synonym of fairness, the way justice is reflected, because is the most predominant of the two values, is that it is being fair, treat everybody respectfully and equally in what is called life or the cycle of life. Everyone is supposed to follow a path, the path of life. This message relates to everyone, we cannot discriminate people, because that will be unfair. As I said both values are reflected in this poem, more than A Psalm of Life, but it is not obvious, but in various situations presented in the story we can infer that these values are in a way reflected in this poem.

To resume it all, I fell like in both poems the values, Fairness and Justice were not reflected clearly but, as I said there is a way that you can look at it, and it looks as if they in some way did use this two values, but in a very slight way, but in The Tide Rises, The Tide Falls it is reflected a little bit more clear but not too much. Anyways I fells like these two are very important values that are not very clearly reflected in the story.
